about us

Sera Kumeroa  - Director / Founder

Sera is a results driven professional, with more than 20 years experience in fundraising, business development and executive management in the not-for-profit sector in London and Sydney at charities such a Australian Red Cross, Sunnyfield, Metro Assist, SCOPE UK and Lifeline. Sera is passionate about supporting grassroots and frontline organisations to effectively deliver services and measure impact. She understands what brings communities together and is a strong advocate for the most vulnerable people in society.

Goodwill Hunting Co. was created by Sera when it became apparent that charities, especially small organisations, who were desperate for more funding, program development and strategic growth simply could not afford to pay a full time person to take the charity to the next level. It was observed that this was leading to high burnout rates, low retention and general dissatisfaction in the not-for-profit sector.

By pulling together a team of not-for-profit experts, GHC can offer a broad range of services that assist charities to support the most vulnerable people in society. The GHC team has skills that cover the complex breadth needed to move a charity forward. The team is built on responsiveness and flexibility - focusing on the needs of each client and offering bespoke support services tailored to the priorities of each charity.

Additionally, Sera wanted to create a working model that offered flexibility, creative freedom and work life balance - meaning that all team members at GHC set their own hours to suit their family responsibilities. We pride ourselves on the outcomes of our work, not the amount of hours we sit at a desk.
